Trouble loading midi XML res6

I cant seem to load the xml for my midi taken from a different composition under the shortcuts folder. I tried putting the xml I wanted in the shortcuts folder but it doesn't appear in the drop down menu in res6. I even copy and pasted the xml text and saved over the xml that does appear in the drop down but still nothing. please help!

If you have a MIDI preset for a specific composition and you want to re-use it and adjust it for another. Then I would suggest opening that MIDI and then "Save as..." and save it as a separate preset. You shouldn't need to go to the documents folder and change things there.
When you load a composition; then a related MIDI preset will be loaded along with it - the one you used as last for that comp.
Could you please share this xml file with us?
