Trouble setting up OSC (Lemur) with Resolume Avenue

Hi there,
I'm doing my first foray into OSC using the Lemur app on an iPhone, and cosmowe's handy UI (
viewtopic.php?t=11086).
I thought I was pretty diligent in following instructions, but I don't seem to be able to make the OSC connection between Lemur and Resolume. I'm using an iPhone 8, and Resolume Avenue 4.6.4
In this help article (
https://resolume.com/support/en/osc), there's a screenshot showing how you can see the signals coming in via OSC, but the screenshots appear to be from Arena. Is there a similar capability in Resolume?
This is my Lemur setup -
... and this is my Resolume setup -
Does anybody have any tips for an OSC/Lemur beginner? I'm feeling pretty stuck right now...

Your port in Lemur should be 8001 to match your OSC input port in Avenue. Probably safest to turn off OSC output in Avenue unless you’re using it elsewhere.

You'd need the OSC output to get feedback in lemur which is very important if you program a page to control active clip/layer. That way, you can get updated values in your controller when you change the selected clip/layer.

To get things under control in Lemur, start small to understand how it works. So here is my recommendation:
1) create a new slider
2) go to the OSC tab, check Custom Address and use the /composition/master OSC address
3) make sure you IP:ports are right for both input & output in Resolume and Lemur
Then if everything works as planned, when you move the slider on your iphone, the master opacity should change in Resolume and when you change it in Resolume, it should change on your iphone.
You can monitor the incoming OSC addresses in Resolume by clicking in the arrow in the OSC preference menu:

Doesn’t look like his version of Avenue has the OSC monitoring button.

Yes, I guess I didn’t realize he was working with Avenue 4. It’s OK though, it should work the same Except that he will not be able to monitor that’s all.

Oaktown, Empyfree, thank you so much!
I got the connection up and running, and got the slider example to work.... sort of. Lemur freezes up almost immediately. This might be an issue more for Lemur tech support than this forum.
But just in case, does this setup look like it'll cause trouble?

Have you tried turning OSC Bundles off in Resolume?

Turning off "bundles" seemed to do the trick. Thanks again Oaktown!
