Hallo Resolume Community,
i really like Resolume, but i have a little question.
When i whant to use the Vidnet the Computers only sometimes "find" each other. Sometimes only one is listed, sometimes non of them.
I don't use any Firewall ( also the XP-SP2-Firewall is turned off ) and all the computers are in the same workgroup, and the ip's are also set up corectly.
Is this because of i use the demo version or is it a bug or a big error i my network-setup?
Thanx 4 your help Thomas

Hi,
the vidnet system is not yet foolproof as you probably noticed, we are working on bug fixes for the next version and vidnet is on of the main concerns.
So if vidnet does not find all the vidnet hosts sometimes is because vidnet did not intilliase well...
so we hopen we can fix it for the next release...
cheers,
Edwin

i just recognized that vidnet works well as long as i don't output from my main pc. what output resolution do i have to set on the second computer, the laptop- to the process resolution of the first computer or to it's output resolution?
vidnet says: pc1;pc2;11;
what does the last number indicate? sometimes it's 20, sometimes it's 10, sometimes the process res and the output res is listed afterwards (but i can't read it to the end because the window isn't long enough......)
please help us....
cheers
