hi all -

i'm thinking about getting a dell xps gen 2 for a resolume visuals laptop. any thoughts? is it worth the bucks for the 256mb nvida geforce go 6800 ultra? will that make any difference with resolume? or should i concentrate on ram/cpu? does pentium M sacrifice anything noticeably over a P4? thanks in advance!!

don't waste your dough on that machine, its made for hardcore gaming and the beefed up video card will do nothing for resolume. its all about HD & CPU speed. I'm using a 9100 with an external drive and am pretty happy with the speed. 9200 is the equivalent i think? not sure how the PM is over the P4. i just know that the word "mobile" means "weak" to me
