Looking for animated bulging effect that you can scale/transform...

Hello! I am new to Resolume, but I have used VDMX before. There is an effect that I used to do in VDMX and I am trying to re-create it in Resolume and cannot figure it out. Imagine a still photograph of someones flexed bicep...I would like to apply a bulging/warping effect that makes it look like only the bicep is bulging/flexing.

In Resolume Arena 6, I found the "FishEye" effect, but it only works on the entire photograph. I do not see a way to "crop down the sphere of influence" of the FishEye (the size and position). I forgot the name of the effect in VDMX because it has been a while, but I know it allowed control of size/position (maybe it was Bulge or BumpDistrortion). You can also use this effect to make something in a photo look like it is throbbing (wink, wink). I tried various ways to try to scale/transform the fisheye, but no luck. I also tried all of the other effect options, but didn't find a winner.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Without seeing what you are trying to accomplish it's hard to say.

You can place the Fisheye effect before and after transform on the clip. You could try to add another transform to the effect chain.
You could place the Fisheye on a separate layer as an effect clip, then place crop or vignette effects before to have the input of the fisheye cropped.
Maybe one or more of these could help you further.

Resolume can use 64bit FFGL effects, so if you find the one you like you can have Resolume pointing to it's folder in Preferences-Video. Resolume will try to load it on the next restart.
