You should be able to map the positions the same way as you map the sliders in TouchOSC.
The fact that the position parameters are not sliders in Resolume, doesn't really matter regarding the OSC address and messages. You can set sliders in TouchOSC to send to these addresses as well.

The transform positionX, clip position (time) works for me in your template.

The Clip direction buttons are indeed not working properly via OSC, we have a ticket for that. #10988
Note that your leftmost direction button is not sending to Selected Clip.

Any suggestions for X position to get it working

Clip direction I think I mapped one of them to the specific layer

As I said it works for me, it controls the selected clip's transform position x.
Does it not change the position x value when you move the slider in touchOSC on your machine at all?

No. Nothing at all happens
Is there anything to clear or reset that could possibly fix this (the other stuff was working)

Could you check if you actually get these messages into Resolume via the OSC inspector in preferences?
