Test Card

Since Arena 6 has come out, I've had the opportunity to blend and stack many sets of projectors and I must say there are things I don't like about the new test card so here is my feedback:
1) Please give us an option to turn off the sweeping as it very distracting when you're working on convergence
2) Make the grid square a constant pixel number (40 like the previous version is great considering most everything we do is divisible by 40)
3) Center the grid
4) Make the black grid black without "shadow" so that we can have clean edges
5) Give us more circles and color/black&white on all sides so that it can be easy to line up and color match projectors

In addition, I would love to have the ability to generate test cards for slices

The following modified test card doesn't have the 40x40 clean grid on center but this is just a quick photoshop version to show what I'm talking about in comparison with the current one:

Good point! These numbers were really great for both reference and focus.

Coolux has a great set of test patterns you can download for free. It’s what I use when doing blends.

I found this Pattern Generator and think its all we need ;)

@ Drazker and He2neg, I want to be clear that this thread is not about where to find test cards but rather how to get a native Resolume test card that works better.

I just assumed that the test card was more created for LED walls since really thats the main use of Resolume these days.

You're issues are stemming from using the test card with edgeblending and stacking, mind explaining some of the bullet points you have? More just so i can learn how it helps(just jacking some knowledge!)

Interesting, all my work is with projectors so I never use LED walls!

1) Please give us an option to turn off the sweeping as it very distracting when you're working on convergence
It's really hard to focus on converging and fine adjustment when the white sweep comes on.
2) Make the grid square a constant pixel number (40 like the previous version is great considering most everything we do is divisible by 40)
I need a constant frame of reference
3) Center the grid
For me it's important for the dotted lines to bisect the grid in quarters.
4) Make the black grid black without "shadow" so that we can have clean edges
Having the 'shadows' make it difficult to accurately blend projectors
5) Give us more circles and color/black&white on all sides so that it can be easy to line up and color match projectors
Having multiple color/black&white areas help with color matching multiple projectors. Lines are great but circles really help in checking for linearity in both directions.
