Hello,

I have a problem with opacity of slices / layers (when slices input sources are layers)
I don't manage to get the same opacity in the output monitor than I have in the output using the layers in the slices.
black can not be transparent.... see the difference between output monitor and the advanced output.
any idea?

slice 1 is layer 1
slice 2 is layer 2

Not sure why you would want to do this this way, the advanced output is not the place to do compositing.
What you see happens because the slices are not blended together, wile the layers in the composition are.

Try setting the Layer 2 blend to alpha to see the same behavior in the composition as you see in the Output.

"setting the Layer 2 blend to alpha " does not help.
but seems using the automask effect is the solution.

I want to do this this way cause the tool for transform is much more powerfull and with handles in the advanced output than in the transform settigns (of clips or layers)

Automask removes the black color from the clips. All of the blacks.

Going this route you'll have a very hard time once your composition gets more complex and you want to change anything.

If the Transform effect is not enough, have a look at the keystone effect which would give you similar control of the corners of the texture.
The Slice Transform effect could also be your friend.

It looks like slice transform is exactly what you need

I have pretty much the same issue. Slice transform, using fill, the center slice is much brighter than all the other slices
