All,
I have a server which I have registered offline, but after 30 days it is started watermarking again (see attachment)
It says it is registered on the screen but still trying to call home.
Is there something else I need to do?
Thanks
Carson

It is a new policy, to avoid user to be obliged to use a physical dongle, for instance.
Arena must be able to call home once in a while. After 30 days, if Arena is unable to call home to verify your registered information, it starts acting like not a registered version until you go online and register again.
If you are online once in a 30 day period without expiring it, Arena will call home on start and auto check your register information - simple as that.
Just avoid being offline for more than 30 days.

Have a look at this thread:

Indeed once you are past the 30 days, and without an internet connection the watermark will be there.
You have the option to
- connect to the Internet and start Resolume so it can check the status,
- or you can wait till the registration expires, go to your Resolume shop account and unregister your machine and then perform an offline registration,
- or if you don't want to wait for the 30 days you can delete the registration file while Resolume is not running, log in to your Resolume shop account, unregister the machine and do an offline registration.
Reg file paths for Avenue:
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Resolume Avenue 6/registration
Windows: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Resolume Avenue 6\registration

No matter how you did registered. Arena will need to have a connection "home" every 30-days. The only way around is to delete the registration and do the offline registration again (work for 30days again & need to be repeated)
The registration is lost every 30 days.

Thanks for that piece of information.
Does anyone know what TCP ports and server name the registration process uses?
Maybe I can get my client to open up their firewall.
Thanks
