With an effect applied to a clip and set to 0%, a freeze occurs for a split second when increasing the opacity via midi or slider.
The issue doesn't do it again unless you let it sit for 30secs - 1min.
i.e Mirror effect

Comp size - 5536x4375
clip size - 1920x1080 @200%
PC 1080ti - 25% utilization

Sounds like an optimization thing.
We'll check if this can behave better.
