blending mode problem

hello :)

maybe someone knows the anwser for my little problem. In my next project I have to find a way.. NOT to blend layers. Like in photoshop - there is a blending mode called normal, what it does it just puts layers on top of each other (if a layers opacity is 100%). It might be a silly question, but i dont know how to acheive this in Resolume. All available blendings modes actually mix two or more layers together. What i want to have is layer 1 totally covering some part of layer 2, without blending.

Is this possible in Resolume..?

thanks in advance!

just select Add or Alpha blending mode and set the opacity to 100% and if your clip/video has an alpha channel, you will see the pixels from the layer(s) below where there is transparency.

thanks for the reply. That was what I did, a channel that was off the screen was cousing the problem. This thread can be easily deleted, my fault. thanks a lot!
