Hi,

From a convience point of view it would be so much better to put effects on individual clips (ctrl + effect shortcut) by selecting the layer and not the clip and then hitting Ctrl+effect.
This is beacause now we work with multiple decks, I might select a clip from one deck, load into a layer and then jump into another tab of decks load them up, then want to turn off / change the effect on the clip I loaded earlier - but I have to currently do this by finding the deck the clip was loaded from (wasting me valuable time) and then find the clip in the deck, slect it there and then change it !! This is so long winded...
This laso goes for clips speed, or any other option that requires selecting the clip in the deck and not by selecting the layer it is in.
User friendless is the best new feature you could give us !

Also - please please please can we have some shortcuts for the Screen, Multiply and Alpha layer transparency modes !!!
These are the transparency modes we use most and its a pain not having a shortcut, specially when we used to have them in earlier versions.

The option to customise absolutely every shortcut and add shortcuts for everything would be amazing (currently I can do many but not all), they are so useful when performing live when speed is key.

Just thought of a few other things we'd like to see !
Here we go:

Option to right click a file in a deck and cut / copy / paste it
then paste it into other decks as needed..

Option to merge decks together - for instance make one deck that has files on the left hand side and nothing on the right, and then another deck which has files on the right and nothing on the left, then load one on top of the other to create a deck that is a mix of the two. If I try this at the minute I loose the files in the first deck even if there is space for them in deck I load on top.
This would be good for mixing up footage, as we rely on decks more and more we get bored of the same combination of files each time..

Maybe a fourth layer would be cool, sometimes Im looking for another layer and its not there !

Also the ability to put more than one effect on an indivual clip, like having the 3 effects channels for each clip.

Native 3D support would be awesome too, but Im guessing thats a massive job...
