First of all. Resolume works absolutely great with a MIDI controller and I'm really happy with the MIDI mapping interface in resolume. I love it!

....However:

When mapping ANY (!) MIDI note to move clips in the active a layer layer up or down resolume doesn't work well with the MIDI. (This seriously is the only systematic "error" in resolume that I could find. So it's not a big deal but worth the mentioning....)

Instead of moving up or down one layer with one touch of the note, this effect actually happens twice. Once on pressing down on the note and once on release. This totally screws up all of the layers, since when you move a clip to another layer, the clip already in that layer will move to the spot where the other ("active") clip used to be (a swap).

The result of this is that when I (would) use this effect with my MIDI, usually not one clip is still in its previous layer and there's no telling in which layer they are going to end up without some heavy pre-puzzling for which I don't have time when doing a VJ set.

I figure a solution for this problem would be quit simple and I think it only has to do with the command resolume uses for the effect. It's just a guess. (It's not related to my laptop since the same thing happens when i run resolume on my desktop pc). In fact: I know crap about the technical side of computers and software. I just like toying with them. ;) ...so it's really just a guess.
