arena 4 on custum shape ledscreen

Hi ,
I need some advice to start up my new project.
For a new artwork I need to work with a (flexibel) led screen.
My only experience is working with a beamer. I work with resolume arena 4.
Project:
Led screen in the shape of a cone . Top off the cone is off.
Sizes: section outer circle:4 meter, section inner circle: 2mtr, hight: 1 mtr).
I have a stable 'cone' shape structure, the led screen will be wrapped around it .
Visual = smooth gradient shifting colorfield. On top of this colorfield going white lines from bottom to the top.
1. Is working on a ledscreen the same as with a beamer? As in with the use of the program. Or is it a different setup in the software?
2. Can I program it without leaving my laptop/resolume connected?
3. Is there any way I can order a 12x1 meter ledscreen and get triangle shapes out so I can make the desirable shape. And still make the lines go from top to bottom. So the leds stay connected even though there are parts not in use.
Hope to get some proper advice to help me started.
