Audio Sync Issue

Hi all,

I’ve got a showfile thats being triggered by art net from a lighting console for a musical act. The console is following smpte along with the band and tracks- and triggers a video clip that tracks through the whole song.
The clips are rendered in dxv at 30 FPS (composition frame rate is 30fps), but we are having issues with the video drifting off of sync from the audio playing from the tracks. Today we triggered it and the video drifted off sync. I then replaced the clip in resolume with the exact same file- dragged and dropped into the same spot. After replacing, it followed the sync perfectly.
Any ideas on how to keep these synced, and to make resolume more reliably play back content in time?

The only time I've seen something similar was when the video file on disk had been replaced by a file with the same name, but different length. So the next time Resolume was launched, it got confused over the speed because the math for the duration and number of frames didn't add up.

Replacing the file in the comp itself forces it to rework those numbers and play at the correct speed for the new duration.

Do you have your clip in Resolume set to sync to the same SMPTE signal?
