Multiply 50

It would be really nice to have an option for a multiply 50 blend mode. The Res 6 feature to have clip re-callable blend modes is awesome, and with envelopes a lot of installations are now possible, but I find myself being unable to use multiply blend mode the way i like to with a recallable mode, because clip opacity isn't the same as layer opacity and i would need to set the layer to 50%. Same goes for difference and Difference I. Also, the ability to toggle Masks per clip would be super handy. Thanks for listening!

In the meantime, you could add an envelope to the opacity and have it flatline at 50% ;)

Can you be more specific in your actual need? Are you using setting your layer at 100% for another blend mode?

Right now, when a layer is at 50%, Multiply works as if the blend is 100% so if you tested the same combination in Photoshop, to get the same result you'd have the layer opacity at 100%.

So, when a Multiply layer is set to 25%, it's equivalent to 50% in photoshop. In other words 50 Multiply at 100% in Resolume would be equal to 100% Multiply in Photoshop and make the blend mode behave the same way in both programs. Is that what you're after?

Let's be blunt. Which of the 'non-50' pixel blends is actually useful as a layer blend mode without an envelope transposing the range to 0-50?
