Unable to convert file in Alley

				Hi,
I am trying to convert an uncompressed avi file to DXV in Resolume Alley. However, after opening the file, Alley's View pane says "Failed to load media file". Since I can't seem to attach .txt files to a post on the forums,
here is the log. I think the relevant part is the last lines:
INFO: PLAYERCONTROLLER - Play: traffic1.avi
WARNING: Cannot find suitable decoder for input format -1572868144.
WARNING: Cannot find suitable decoder for input format -1573916000.
WARNING: Cannot find suitable decoder for input format -1576012624.
So, what's the problem, and what to do about it? As I said, the file is a plain, uncompressed AVI, and other applications have no problems opening it.

Can you share your file? (You can send me the link via PM if that's better for you)

Can you share your file?

Not very easily, as it's 110 GB.

Have you tried uninstalling Resolume and doing a fresh install?

Could you post a screenshot of the codec info from VLC?
Does windows media player play this file?
Do you have a similar but smaller file you could share with us?

No, but this is a fresh install, and is the first time I am trying to use Alley. I did try updating Alley, but the problem persisted. Alley is now version 2.0.0.1444.

Yes, and I can convert it using VirtualDub, but DXV is not an output option in VirtualDub.

No, but I could try to make one.

Here is a link to a file created using Direct Stream Copy in VirtualDub. It contains a single frame from the source file, and still won't open in Alley:

I'm on a Mac and I can't open your file with anything besides MadMapper 3.6.3, not even VLC! I tried Alley, Arena, Adobe Media Encoder, After Effects, Qlab, Millumin, QuickTime and VLC.

In Windows your file looks like a 46 minutes file for me, but plays blank, and converts fine to 1 frames DXV.
I guess the virtualdub action messed up things a bit.
It's also possible that the audio of the original file is what causes the issue, so if you can please send it to us.
Sent you a PM.
