I am currently building a new PC for the convention I run.

As of right now I'm planning three outputs. We have four projector screens. one output would go to the inside, another output for the outside, and the last for projection mapping during the rave of our event.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the components I have picked.

It looks ok.
Might want to consider an Intel based system such as the 8700K.
In my experience with Resolume, higher clock speed serves me better than more cores.
Unless you are going for ECC memory for mission critical applications (running 24/7), I would go for the 8700K.

I was thinking about the 8700k, however I am also going to be using the computer to record A/V while using resolume at the same time. if I was just going to be using resolume, I don't think I would need as much as I will be putting into this system.

Why can't you use a 8700k to record and use resolume at the same time?

Chances are there would be no reason I couldn't use the 8700k. The reason I wanted the more cores is due to the multiple recording programs. I'm going to have the decklink 4k recorder to record the output feed, and the decklink duo 2 input the different cameras I can always designate cores to run the programs (that is unless windows has changed that feature, I haven't touched windows since 7) And depending on if the current leaks about the ryzen 7 3700x are accurate then I might want to go with that chip instead.

8700K has only 16 pci lanes

you need 16 just for for graphics card

need at least 12 more for sata , nvme , capture card

so change your choice to a better processor with 28 lanes

There are some great build model that Oaktown posted on here a year or so ago. Some older 6-7th gen i&'s having GREAT amounts of PCIe lanes and higher base clock speed vs more cores than some of the current gen processors (not to mention cheaper too).
