SMPTE, Lag

Hello,
I'm having problems with SMPTE. when I enable some clip for SMPTE it stays with LAGs. When I turn the clip to the timeline it plays normally. the SMPTE that I'm sending to Resolume has the same frame rate as the video file. What do I need to check to resolve this?
