Resolume Forum

Resolume seems to start normally. But I cannot drag video clips (the included samples) from the 'Browser' to the channels. Actually, I drag them, but when I release the mouse in the channel box, nothing happens (no preview image).

My video capture card isn't listed in the 'Sources' tab.

The settings in 'Screen Settings' don't have anything listed. In other words, I can't select a process or output resolution because there are no selections listed.

When I load either the demo1 or demo2 deck, the preview images appear in the channels then "program error - resolume.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows" appears.

I've checked the forum for possible solutions, but didn't see anything.

I tried 2.1 demo, and it fixes everything.


Setup:
Resolume 2.3 demo
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
Athlon XP 2500+
DirectX 9
Asus v9480 video card w/ tv video in and out, WDM capture driver installed and tested.

Try reinstalling you GFx card drivers, I've had that problem before and I think thats how I sorted it!

I updated the graphics card drivers with no change: ver. 2.3 has problems, ver 2.1 works.

Still waiting for response...

Anyone?

Pretty Obvious:

Resolume Minimum system requirements

* - 1024x768 screen resolution
* - 1 Ghz processor
* - 256 Mb RAM
* - Windows XP

So it's probably your win2k which has a totally different GFX driver approach as win XP. That 2.1 works, is perhaps a lucky shot?
