MIDI mapping

Hey I have a problem. I use Cubase and Resolume Avenue 6 in a cabaret venue with live entertainment. Some shows have background videos so I use Cubase 5 to play a song and trigger MIDI on Resolume to activate a video for each of the songs. Anyway, I have recently installed RA 6 (upgraded from RA 4) and the MIDI works fine... for a while. Then after some amount of time, the MIDI cues on Resolume disappear? I save it every time but the notes still disappear as if they weren't saved. Any ideas as to why this keeps happening?

Please, I need help. Any ideas at all? I come in every night after mapping all the MIDI again and the cues (notes) keep disappearing. I can't find any solutions anywhere.

Which shortcut target are you using?

Great! And what shortcut target are you using when you create the shortcut for the clip?

I didn't set a target. I just left it as default, "By Position"

Good! When the notes disappear, are the clips still in the same position or have they been moved around?

Yes, the clips themselves stay where I left them, it is just the notes I set on each clip just vanish.

Okay. Are you using a preset for your MIDI shortcuts, or are you overwriting the default preset file?

I don't touch the preset. So I guess I overwrite the default preset file.
