Hi,

I have a very strange thing happening, i want to remove the sixth layer of my composition because i am not using it.
When i remove it and save the composition after changing decks, it pops back up.
Any one knows what this might cause?

Any help much appreciated!

Should be fixed in 6.1.2 ;) viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18135

I updated Resolume but it didn't fix the problem.
But having said that i discovered that removing the unwanted layer on individual Deck's and saving them one by one ( deck by deck) solves it.
Kinda strange i alway's thought that the amount of layers is defined in the composition and not in individual decks of that composition.

If you remove a layer in deck1 then switch to deck 2, the layer should only appear again if you have clips in the layer in deck 2.

Did you have content in this layer you tried to remove in other decks?

I don't believe i had content on it, but if i had, shouldn't there be some sort of warning (are you really want to delete this layer?, there's content on it) speaking about warnings, it would be very help-full to have a question popup when closing of resolume. (..do you want save the changes you made?) Sometimes i forget to save, close of and lose what ever i had changed.

just a suggestion/request sort a thing. :D

This problem is fixed on 6.1.2, but existing decks will need to be saved once in order for the fix to work. You don't need to remove the extra layers first, just doing a quick ctrl-s on each deck is enough. Resolume will then figure out what the last layer with content is by itself.

On new compositions, the fix will work automatically.
