If source folder contains dot symbol, "Same as Source/Preset Name" ignore source folder name.
For example (with preset named "DXV"), source path:

D:\1.test\test.mp4

After conversion file appear in:

D:\DXV\test.mov

It's a bit confusing, because I can't find converted files sometime.

Still exists in the latest alley =(

Alley "Same as Source/Preset Name" option put files in "../Preset Name" folder
