Bad problem: 2.3 hangs on most of my footage

Installed 2.3 (which has many new features I like, especially I wanted the ability to remember the setup) and, to my disappointment, found that it hangs when I try to load one of the "problem" clips - or when I load the desk with it (it works) and then try to play it. Some of my clips play, but it looks like most of them hang 2.3. All these "problem" clips played perfectly in versions 1.0 to 2.2.

Currently I'm using 2.0 because it's the most stable one on my system (Celeron 2.0GHz, Radeon 9200, 512Mb RAM). I've tried 2.2 and it worked but crashed noticably more often then 2.0, so I stayed with 2.0. I'd like very much to use 2.3 because of its new features, but this problem makes it pretty useless for me. It would be great if you resolume guys can fix this bug. One of the "problem" is only 720Kb, I can upload or send it for debugging.

2.3 really is the most unstable resolume-version i ever tried.. i don't have problems with my video-footage.. but with my flash-movies and the audio-analyzer ..

and the whole software is crashing too, sometimes..

i hope these bugs are fixed quite quickly.. otherwise, i would really like to have my money back..

I have found it quite Buggy, but when you way it up to not having it remeber your start up and feedeback source, wich I have found has given a new lease on life to a lot of old footage. Also remeber your not paying as much as you would for some of the more commercial packages. though I mut admit there is a lot of footage that does not work on this version, but I also am lazy and never get around to converting a lot of my stuff to right res before playing

i also recognized, that resolume stops playing, when i preview some clips or drag them into a deck. but this just happens with mpg1 clips. indeo 5.1 works fine.

Hello edwin!

It's uriah, I can't register for some reason.

I've sent the offending file to you by e-mail about two weeks ago, but haven't got any reply from you. Have you got it?

Resolume 2.3 Crashing

Hey everyone,

I've also had alot of trouble with 2.3. I'm a beginning VJ, and used 2.3 for a private performance last week and had constant problems. When the audio analysis was on, clips would sometimes freeze in the background, or turn black. If i left it going, all layers would eventually turn black and i could not change them, and would have to restart the program. None of this happens in 2.2, and all the clips work fine in 2.2.

Also a long standing bug seems to be if I load some decks it will not load one after about the 5th or 6th. The deck will load blank and any other decks i try to load after that are also blank (it doesnt even 'load' the files, just instantly loads as if it was an empty deck.)

If its of interest, i'm using a 32 bit AMD system on an nforce2 based motherboard, ati based video card setup, 2xraptors in raid0, onboard sound, windows xp. Its a pretty high end system for its type, and i'm a fairly advanced user.
