Approach to tree and screen projection

Dear arenaists,
We will have to attack the following:
Projections on 3 trees with 2 projector screens between the trees. - So 5 Outputs from arena.
The task is that sometimes the projection on the trees will be solo on the trees, sometimes the screens will be projected solo and sometimes all of the 5 outputs will have to play as one landscape.
We are planing to this with one beefy MacPro - and a tripple head 2 go for the trees and a proper laptop or a HP Z820 with a Titan X for the 2 projector screens.
We do this for the first time - and we know that we can sync resolume via osc. But sometimes we will run the porjections exclusively for the trees and then sometimes only for the screens and sometimes all together and everything should be synced...
How would you set this up? is everything synced via osc and if so, would you recommend that some columns are left out where no projection on the screens are visible - so that if the osc signals comes from the tree machine that nothing is projected on the screens... and vice versa or are there other solutions that I did not think about?
Thanks for your answers,
best regards
Felix
