PC-ArtNet-Interactive-LED bars integration

Hi everyone,

Sorry, if I've been out for a while, but I lost some family members, and I wasn't able to focus much on my work. That's life, I guess.
I'm trying to catch up, I end up having my own space with projectors installed https://www.jdshows.ca/jdshows-space, and now I would like to get creative with Interactivity, OSC, and I like to add some LED bars or maybe strips (would help the budget) to integrate into my shows.
Oaktown, I came to California, and now I know why you're so smart, it's beautiful down there, I'd move in no time, even considering a waiter (my friend) makes USD 100,000... I was shocked.

Going back to the topic,

I'm figuring out the OSC,
playing around with NDI and trying to integrate live feed via NDI
Lumoplay (interactive through Astra 3D camera via NDI,
Still not figuring out the Serato Video Signal and trying to swap my Pioneer SX2 with a Denon MC 7000.
And I'm looking for advice to set up some LED bars or strips... I remember it was DMX but is ArtNet the best way to go?

Sorry for the lengthy post!

Any help?
Best regards,

J.

Yes Artnet is the way to go....

For LED Strips you can find some cheap stuff on alibaba (need aditional power unit & Artnet -> SPI Hardware)
For older Lamps without build in Artnet you ll need some Artnet - > dmx hardware (enntec is working good here..)

For each "lamp typ" you will need to set up a fixture ( how many channels / whitch is r,g & b / etc) Its easy done inside the advanced output menu.

i.E.
for a simple RGBA Par You will need to build a fixture 1 px / 4 Channels
(for a strip you ll need amount of single controle able px / RGB ( 3 channels))
then you can place this Fixture where you want it to be....

Thank you HegNeg I'll look into ArtNet and SPI and led strips RGB (ArtNet compatible?)

The Strips dont need to be "artnet" compatible... they listen to the "SPI" language... the translater before need to be Artnet to SPI

I was able to configure the network (up address manually) and chose in advanced output when you add fixture.
But not sure what to do with channels. I’ve tried to set it to 1 and 1 to the physical fixture but it didn’t work. I’m probably doin something wrong.

I end up hiring a light jockey. Run them separately. :(
