Resolume 6.1.3 Can't view h264 MOV or PNG's

Ever since upgrading to resolume 6, I can no longer use h264 MOV's or PNG files.
They load into the software, with the thumbnail visible, but they will not preview in the preview monitor/output monitor
I have tried loading the same files into Resolume 5 and they work fine. It's nothing to do with layer effects/controls I don't think because other clips in the same layer load fine.
What is going on? This a HUGE HEADACHE

Do they play when you drop them to a new empty composition?

Thanks, got the log.
There are a lot lines about trying to activate rendering contexts.
Try updating the radeon drivers to a more recent one.
If that also doesn't help, could you send us one of the pngs that doesn't work for you?
Maybe attach here, so others can also try and give some feedback.

I went to device manager and tried updating the display driver. Everything up to date.
I downloaded the AMD Radeon utility, and updated the drivers from there.
Everything is working smoothly again!

Actually, after I started using resolume again, everything works fine until...
Until I plug in an actual output via hdmi or displayport
I tried multiple different devices (projectors, 1080p TV etc)
When I plug it in the output, preview and advanced window no longer works.
