Hello good people,

Has anyone tried to output Resolume via the visualizer in ChamSys?

Here is what I have set up: A grid of 30 Pixelline 1044 (10x3), set to 54 channel mode. I have arranged them in the Advanced view and the pixels are in the right place on the Pixelline, and the DMX address is set for each Pixelline correctly. the Lumiverses are set to the target IP, which is my ChamSys desk.
I know that if I patch a pixelmap from magicQ, over the Pixellines, I can see the resulting output on the visualizer.
I would be interested to see if anyone has tried anything like this.

I put a similar question to the ChamSys forum and got a reply saying this should be possible if Resolume supports CITP.
Does Resolume support CITP?

CITP needed to die back in 2012, it blows my mind that people still use it.
Resolume doesn't support CITP, as it shouldn't, as shouldn't any software, ever!

What Resolume can output, is Spout/Syphon and NDI. Any professional grade visualizer will support both of those protocols. Haven't used a Chamsys visualizer before, so I'm not sure if it supports either of those protocols or not.

I have now found that it is indeed possible to see the output on a Chamsys visualiser, so all good - it is all a question of setting the input/output for Artnet in the setup/view DMX I/O so the input/output does not clash. Videos available on YouTube on the Chamsys Russian channel.
The next question is: Has anyone managed to generate thumbnails from Resolume in the Chamsys media window?

Thumbnails require CITP for your console, and no you can't do CITP with Resolume.
