i know in the past this wasn't possible, but can 2.3 output via firewire to dv? If so whats the setup?

if i click on 'micrsoft DV camera and vcr' in cpature drivers and click on settings, in the digital VCR tab it says 'can be recorded' but if i hit record it sends nothing to the DV camera... hmmm

whats the deal here?

you got it the wrong way round, the camera is being fed into resolume, so you can use what ever is being played on the camera as footage.

although this topic is about an input I would love to have this feature
would be quite cool using this to record the sets cause i have a dvcam recorder which would work perfect in this matter
and iff some of the frames drop i wouldnt have a problem either cose the live cam does this when there are to many effects as well id understand this ....
