Hi, when i put the layer transition on, the transition will start at the end of a clip, is there a way to change it?

Now the transition starts at the last frame so the clip starts looping again, showing the first frames of this clip while transitioning to the next.

Works fine for loops, for other content its quite annoying.
I got this clip one minute long (theatre) , starts black, ends white. If i use autopilot play next, with a transition, it will jump from white to black while fading into the next clip.

Ideally i would like to be able to set this behaviour. For example a 10sec transition, to start 10seconds before end of that clip..

Set clip play mode to Play once and hold, so the clip will hold the last white frame while auto pilot transitions to the next clip.

Although "Play Once and Hold" is better than "Loop" it still pauses the clip at the end of the video AND THEN starts the transition.

Say you had a 60 second clip and a 10 second transition.

In an ideal world the transition would start at 0:55 so that the video did not pause or restart before the transition is initiated.

Is there anyway to configure Resolume so that this behavior as described is what happens?

Maybe a custom trigger or something in Wire?

The only other alternative would be to make every clip have a seamless transition so that "Loop" could be used and the video would not come to a hard stop or jump before being transitioned but that is not always possible.

And how do you do this when you need it to loop and then transition? This is what I have a problem with.

I have animated logos for each day of the week and for special events. As I have made new ones I Already know I have a 1 second transition so I included a half second of black at the start and end of the logo video so it stays black as it transitions.

Yeah this transition question has been raised more than once before, we have ticket for this and would like to implement an option to change the behaviour whether a transition starts at the end of the clip or ends at the end of the clip. But there is no ETA for this at the moment.

Can I add that it would be amazing to have different transition times per clip. Not just globally on the layer.

Yes this is on that wishlist as well!
