Introloop

hey there,

i was thinking of a feature to make a clip starting at the very first frame and after the first loop it starts again after the trimmed inpoint. with this feature you could make "intro" to a loop and then it loops seamlessly over and over. hope it makes sense to you.:)

the software milumin has this feature for example to give a a clip a seperate intro-inpoint and a loop-inpoint.

thanks in advance guys.

cheers

Quick Solution in my Head:
place it twice and use autopilot to switch to the next clip (2nd Clip is the trimmed version (only the loop))

the lastframe of the first clip, and the first frame of the 2nd clip should match, and transition should be set to 0 for that layer.
transportmode first clip (just in case) to "play once and hold"
Transportmode 2nd clip "loop"

If this dont work tell us why and we will find another solution ;)

Hey he2neg,

Thank you for your reply. I already used this workaround but it blocks a whole layer for that feature. I like to have a compact layout and therefore it would be great to have it in as clippreference.
