this would be cool....
load and SWF file into a channel, and have a few sliders which send data into to aptly named variables inside of the SWF...
that's one hell of an idea...

yes it is,
we made a version of resolume in the past wherein you had full control over flash files.
You could set the width,height,rotation and alpha of movieclips in a certain .swf file.
maybe it will return...but that will take time..and we don't have any..

Well, I think we were talking about more than resizing, etc. I think the original post was asking if it would be possible to send numerical data via sliders from Resolume to variables inside of the SWF file...

Let me throw another voice in on this one. The more flash control the better. The killer for me would be the ability to switch on a mode where the keyboard commands are passed on to the swf. A slider would be awesome too. Anything that lets you use a swd as a PROGRAM, not just as an animation. Going to try and hacks something up with the text pass through, but it be a lot cooler to be able to do it directly. Full alpha support would be awesome as well.
