Hi, I have recently started to explore midi mapping with me APC 40 MKII. I was curious if anyone could shed some light on something im trying to accomplish. For example I have my 8 knobs on the right mapped to the dashboard controls of layer 1. What I would like to be able to do essentially is select layer 2 and have those same knobs mapped to the dashboard controls of layer 2 independently from layer one. The current issue I have is when I switch to layer two, I can map those same knobs but they also change my dashboard controls on layer 1. Is there a way to map those dashbaord controls individually to their respective layer or is that function not available?

Have you tried setting the shortcut Target to Selected layer?
