Hello everyone, so I'm brand new to resolume and I finally made my decision to purchase a license yesterday. so the problem now is I managed to get around the barracks and put in movies everything and assign buttons on my LaunchPad Mini MK2 but when I connect the second Launchpad everything goes haywire. I managed to do this on VDMX and everything was okay but in resolume no, I'm working on Windows and everything else is just fine. I can use launch control from KORG nanokrontol also a Launchpad X . the problem is when I connect two identical midi controllers everything goes haywyre the Launchpad mini only works on Channel 1 and there is no way for me to change it, other than use MIDIOX. but when I do this and move one of the launch pads to Channel 2 everything is even worse resolume just gets crazy and we start having MIDI loops happening and the blinking lights everywhere.
If anybody has ever done this properly and working please let me know because I would like to even grow this set up to accommodate three launch pads from my work thank you.

Could you post a screenshot of your Midi preferences, and send us the log file via the feedback tab in preferences?

please find in attach thre requested files. On the the MIDIlaunchpad file you can see buttons lite up that are not supposed to be.

seconds after I posted this one of the launchpad stopped working at all.

ok so appaerently accourding to the novation manual we should change the hardware ID of the second launchpad by booting into the firmware. I am posting the text from the manual here, maybe it helps anyone. Hope you guys dont mind.

How to Enter the Bootloader
To enter the bootloader, simply hold down the session, user 1, user
2 and mixer buttons (Launchpad S) or 5, 6, 7, 8 buttons
(Launchpad Mini) while connecting the USB cable. These buttons
are highlighted in Figure 1. It will be apparent that the bootloader
has loaded as the LEDs will light as shown in Figure 2. At this point
the buttons can be released.

Hardware ID
In applications where more than one Launchpad is being used, it
may be desirable to assign each Launchpad a different ID. This will
ensure that each Launchpad can be uniquely recognised by the
computer every time it is connected, so that MIDI instructions can
be directed to the appropriate unit.
The top two rows, illuminated yellow, are used to select a hardware
ID from 1 to 16. The brightest LED indicates the device ID currently
selected. When a new ID is chosen, text will scroll across the
Launchpad displaying its number

Yes zotran It seems to be working fine! I'll do some more testing tonight... Hopefully it is fixed and I can add up to 16 launchpads !!!! hell crazy amount of buttons!!!!
