The perfect Transparency?

Hi Everybody!
I've been trying around with Resolume for quite a few weeks now, and I really like it! Just a few questions: I usually make some small animations with aftereffects, and export them using the cinepak codec. (for example, the moving logo of a club) I use a lot of transparent layers (alphachannel). Unfortunally, when I import them in resolume and play them over another clip, the edges get all fuzzy and ugly, with some white or black artifacts around them that don't belong there.
Question: What is the perfect transparency setup for Resolume?
I tried exporting my footage as a .swf animation, that seemed to work a little better.
Any tips?
Thanks a lot!
Tim
