Audio not playing correctly

Good afternoon people,

I've been having a problem for a few days and I don't know where to start.

I built an installation with 5 interconnected computers that make an immersion room. Each computer plays part of the video, which with different resolutions but an average of 15000x1200px divided into 10 projectors per computer synchronized by OSC.

I believe it is not the best way to synchronize, but for now it is the one I know how to use. I'm going to start studying the Timecode system, which I imagine would be the perfect one.

Back to the problem. As for the timing of the videos, it works perfectly, but I am facing problems with Audio that often crashes and returns. I don't know the English word to describe exactly what happens, but I think the expression "stuck" describes it well.

I don't know if the problem is in generating the Wav file. I did it as follows: To keep exactly the same time and framerate of the videos, I used the same timeline as the after effects to export the file, that is, they are identical, or if it is in OSC synchronization. I really don't know where to start.

The videos are really great, but everyone is running at 60fps without problems, that is, it would not be a performance problem.

Another point that I believe is worth reporting is that as they are different videos, there is an operator to change them who accesses the machine via Team Viewer to switch between different themes. OSC is not working to sync videos when Auto Pilot is on changing videos in Master Machine. It becomes a mess.

Could Team Viewer cause this problem in Audio?

Please, any help is welcome.

Thank you,
Vinicius

Are your video files DXV3?

Team viewer could cause some smaller issues but I don't think it is causing what you are describing.

Timecode will be the way I would sync everything, and have you looked into making a master OSC app that connects to each computer via LAN or WAN(VPN)?

Dear Arvol,

Yes, all videos are DXV3. I don't use mp4. I am an old school resolute user. :)

I don't have this knowledge about lan or wan, timecode or build a master OSC app. Would love to learn, but for this I will need a more deep help.

Does the audio drop out when Team Viewer is NOT connected or only when it is connected? Any chance you could throw a file up on a cloud drive so we can test?
Thanks

It happen just now without Team Viewer connected.

Really don't know what to do.

Not possible to send you the video files. They are huge. Something like 70Gb each part.

I can send you the audio files if it helps.

Does resolume have a log file so I can send to somebody to see what's happening?

With file sizes that large, it might be hardware related? Are you using a HDD, SSD, or NvMe drive?

@Zoltan might be able to chime in here on larger file sizes and Audio issues.

Here are the videos and computers specs:

File Size: 92.0 GB

Computer 2
Resolution: 7600x2500
File Size: 78.0 GB

Computer 3
Resolution: 15600x1960
File Size: 123.4 GB

Computer 4
Resolution: 15600x1960
File Size: 123.4 GB

Computer 5
Resolution: 2000x7561
File Size: 63.5 GB

All of them playing more than 60fps

CPU: 18%
RAM: 14%
VRAM: 17%

Computers Specs:
Intel Core i7 9700 - 3.0Ghz
32Gb of Ram
Motherboard Gigabyte Z390UD
SSD NVM2 - for system
SSD 1TB - for media files
1x Nvidia Quadro P4000 (with main monitor)
2x Nvidia Quadro P2200

For sure is not a performance issue, videos are playing very smoothly. Audio too, but sometimes have this glitches.

I am not been able to attach the .txt log file.

Thank you very much.

Are the video and audio streams in the files the same length?

Do you hear the audio glitch right when you connect via teamviewer?

I'd recommend looking into a third party OSC control application.
Networked midi could also work. Would be a lot less stress on the machine than teamviewer connection.

Guys...

I stayed in front of the pc for the last 2 days.

Uninstalled Team Viewer... I did everything.

Bur I have a new information that might help. Its not the sound the problem. Its an old Team Viewer problem. The Fps drop dramatically to 6, 7 Fps.

It's playing smoothly at 60 Fps and suddenly it goes to 6 Fps.

Please help.

Resolume Arena Version 6.1.5

Vinicius

Can you download the demo of Resolume 7 and test with this one on an off day?
