We recently switched to a custom-built PC to run pro presenter and resolume arena respectively, as we used to use 1 "trash can" mac pro to do both and were running into lots of stability issues. However, after deploying the new machines, our LED wall is consistently back lit when sending a black image insead of the pixels being off for black.

Any help would be appreciated!

Check the RGB Range inside the System, rgb full 0-255 and not limeted range.

You find this either in the amd or nvidia preferences...

just tried this. both computers are set to full rgb range and im still getting backlit blacks. when i move over to NDI from our black magic 4k capture card. the problem is solved but it has a lot of latency.

It's a color profile in the Mac. I fixed a trashcan with this same issue a few weeks back for a client but don't remember what settings I changed, I do know it was under the color profile of the Mac.

Also if you're using SDI, The issue may be with your converter setting the SDI to a limited "legal levels" range as well.

Its Fixed!! Given our pixel count, we have to send a 4k resolution out of Pro Presenter and set a manual resolution inside of the 4k image. We were using a 4k capable HDMI while we waited on a 12 SDI to arrive in the mail. When we swapped it out for the SDI, everything was fixed. Thank you all so much for your help!
