Resolume Forum

Hi there !

We often use Resolume (Arena 5 & 6) on stand-alone mediaservers.
We have configured daily automated shutdown and startup.

It appears that sometimes, our videoprojectors or screens are not powered up when Resolume starts and so it cannot be selected in advanced output.

When screens turn on once again, Resolume doesn't switch to it without manual intervention (click on output > advanced output > select screen > save and close).

Is there any way to let Resolume switch automatically from virtual output to our preset on the fly ?

You can use Edid Minder in the signal chain of your outputs. You allways should do with fixed instaltions

Then Resolum allways think there is a screen and dont care if its on or off

You sure will find multiple products when you search for edid minder / emulator / edid simulator etc...
