Hi there,

I'm a newbie with Resolume and I'd like to ask you guys the following:

I'm making some Flash animations and arranging some videos in MPEG.
1.-
What is the best resolution I should use to create my flash content?
2.-
For Video, I've seen that AVI with Indeo or Cinepak in 400*300 is the best for video, but, what is the best resolution for MPEG files?

Thanks and regards from the sunny Spain,

1. Flash files (as long as you leave them as .swf and don't encode them as video) are scaleable vectors (provided there are no bitmaps in them) therefore resolution doesn't matter, just get them to the right ratio. To be on the safe side don't go below 320x240.

2. Don't use MPEG in Resolume, it's not a good VJ codec and you'll have playback issues (jerky, esp when scratching or playing backwards). There's plenty on the forum and online-manual on which formats to encode just do a search.
