I Found 2 Bugs:

My Setup:
Amd Athlon64 3500+
Two Nvidia Geforce 6200 TC (4 outputs)

1st

My Aim: Set Layer 1,2,3+Effects to Output 1 and Layer 2 and 3 to 2 Different outs without effects

I can Set a Maximum of 3 Outs (1 Main + 2 Fullscreen), when I set the 4th Output on, i dont get any Fullscreen Output, only the Main Window is Displayed. Anybody got the same Problem ?

2nd
When i do a Screen Setup after a new installation like:
1 Main
2 Layer 123+Effects
3 Layer 3

I Cant access the Preferences Menu any more ( Only the Key Mapping Still works, no Access to Midi and Audio).
But if I delete the "screensetup.xml" I Can Access them again.

Help ?

I've not tried the combo you mentioned -- [console / 1,2,3 + effects / 2 / 3] -- but I have run [console/1/2/3] with no problems. (Well, aside from the fact that projector 3 was in a different room and I never had that good a feeling for how the image looked.)

However, I can almost guarantee I was running the three projector sends as windows, not full-screen. This is because I historically was never able to run the projectors in full-screen mode without one of the sends being garbled (losing vertical sync), Resolume freezing, or both. I tried several different makes and models of video card, but to no avail.

But on Friday night I noticed that one of my sends was running full-screen -- evidently I mis-clicked during setup -- and giving me no trouble. As best as I can tell, while I was out of town a couple of months ago, my housesitter took it upon herself to upgrade my video drivers. (And upon my return I took it upon myself to upgrade my password to one she hadn't hacked.) Seems like the current ATI All-in-Wonder drivers are better behaved.

So my advice is to give it a try with the sends set to windowed, just to see if it works. If it does, your next step is to engage Bart in a discussion of whether it's Resolume or your video driver that's broken.

There were some problems using multiple screens when set to fullscreen modus in previous versions.
In 2.3 a lot has been improved but there is one thing you will have to take into account.

You can only have multiple windows if you set all the displays to fullscreen (except for the interface that should be on preview) or in window modus. Mixing fullscreen and window modus does not work. So either all fullscreen or windowed, this should work fine. But the multiple fullscreen is sensitive, drivers and videocrads can cause problems we can't allways foresee.
