the best way to build a pc to work with a large video wall is it?
nvidia or amd?
to synchronize the quadro outputs, should mosaic be turned on?

there are very large video walls out there with 1920x1080px in total....then you don't need to sync anything.....and you are totally fine with a midrange laptop.... what resolution are you thinking of?

What is "Large"? Some people consider a 16' wide wall "Large" (I don't). What is the pixel density of these "Large" walls?
