Hello,

I have encountered a strange problem.

Have 2 Layers,
Layer 1: movie with sound
Layer 2: has movies without sound.
All movies are DXV encoded (1080p)

column 1
Layer 1: trigger mode restart
Layer 2: movie 1

column 2
Layer 1: trigger mode relative
Layer 2: movie 2

column 3
Layer 1: trigger mode relative
Layer 2: movie 3

column 4
Layer 1: trigger mode relative
Layer 2: movie 4

.........


The goal is first trigger column 1 to start the sound, then switching between column 2-4 to change the movies in layer 2 while the sound an movie is continue playing on layer 1.

Simple tast i thought

It works well for around 10 times, then the audio stops playing for 3 seconds then automatically starts again at the right position of movie 1. video of movie 1 plays always as it should.

i am on pc, rtx 2080 super, i7, fast m2 ssd.
Beat snapping is off

What i tried:
changed audio buffer size from 512 to 1024 (has no effect)
Trigger columns with mouse or midi controller makes no difference.

Perhaps someone has a hint for me,

If someone has the same problem. Found the bug.
There was a second clip in the same column which had an silent audio track.
(was at -192db).
This clip was responsible for stopping the sound at the other clip for a few seconds.

Just want to share my experience
Trigger "mode relative" in a layer with AV clips are not always working, if you fire them via column trigger.
The audio stops for 3 seconds. This happens not every time. In my case every 10 times triggering my clips.

Are these DXV AV clips you see this with?

Yes, DXV AV clips. No alpha. No Audio compression.
After this happend during a show, I did not use column swith for this part

Hmm, this is a weird one, sounds like a ticket we have. Unfortunately it doesn't really want to happen in our testing.

Could you please send us the Resolume log file via the feedback tab in preferences?

For our situation this happens on non looping clips.
When triggering the cell the audio starts a sec to late, not always but sometimes.
Add the fact that you don't know if the AV will stay sync as well.

When the audio starts does it start from the clip start, or is it in sync with the video at that point?

when the audio comes in after 2 seconds, it is sync with the video.

Having the same problem for quite some time now with Arena 7. 6 is clean.

This is also OS independent. Having this issue on Mac OSX and Windows 10. So no audio driver issue it seems.
