Ram is used for loading decks, thumbnails and FFGL's. So if you just plan to play clips and don't have thousands being loaded at once, 4-8gb should be plenty.

Right. I probably could have phrased it differently, like this: the new M1 Max has 64GB of unified memory, which, subtracting for memory utilized by the CPU, which is generally well under 8GB, that leaves 56GB of unified memory for the GPU, which exceeds any other available consumer GPU that I am aware of. And, it's now available in a computer, the Mac Studio, which costs only $2,599.00 with the 32-core Gpu and 64GB unified memory options. This is almost 50% cheaper than any other GPU on the market with 48GB+ of VRAM, and you get an entire computer for that price. It also supports FIVE 4K screen outputs, simultaneously. So... I consider it a good value.
