Hi Resolume guys
The effects I can apply to visuals in Resolume are amazing, but I've recently seen something in another VJ software that I'd like to emulate.
It's called plane rotation and looks like a revolving door. Four doors, each 90 degrees to the other, with each door being the original image/camera feed.
I suspect this may well be possible in Resolume, but I don't know where to start.
Plane rotation effect?
Re: Plane rotation effect?
Eventually you will be able to do this in Wire, for now you can only rotate the Z access for some reason??
For now, you'll need 2 layers and set both to rotate the Y axis via BPM animation. One of the layers will need the animation settings set tot "Clip Trigger" and the other layer will need to be phase locked to the BPM. Trigger both clips, then keep re-triggering the the "clip triggered" clip until it looks close to 90 degrees offset from the other layers rotation. Play with different blend modes for different looks.
