Wire FFT (side question on installed patches in Avenue)

Hello! I just got Wire, and have played with several of the tutorials. I am interested in using the FFT for audio reactive patches. I was able to compile the Spectrum In example node, install it in Avenue, and use that for the a local or composition FFT. But my understanding is that I should be able to see an Avenue composition FFT signal live while working in Wire, is that correct? If so, any thoughts on why this isn't working for me? General workflow is Start Avenue -> Play audio -> Start Wire -> Open Spectrum In example

Side question: I installed the patch into Avenue by just dragging the .wired file onto the clip grid, any other ways to do this? Also, how do you uninstall patches? Fox example, I would want to clean up this test Spectrum In patch from my list of Avenue sources.

Avenue version 7.7.0 rev9779.
Wire version 7.7.0.9779

Live signals are not yet available from Resolume to Wire.

If you save your patch as source, effect or mixer, it will show up in the proper panel in Resolume, no need to compile it every time.

To uninstall a compiled patch, go to Public user's Documents folder/Resolume Wire/ to find them. You can delete it from there.

It's 2 years later and this hasn't been resolved yet!
It's a massive problem and I've only realised this was the case after buying Wire.
