Resolume 7.8 crashing on Big Sur with live sources

Hi community, I'm having some issues with the following:
With 2 different compositions i'm experiencing a freeze of resolume, which ends up with my whole mac freezed. Only solution is to force a shutdown.
So far i'm thinking it has something to do with live sources, because this has occurred with my integrated webcam, and with a NDI feed coming from OBS. This does not happen automatically, the software will run flawlessly for about 30 minutes, and then it suddenly freezes.
I'm using a 2018 MacBook Pro 15-inch i9 running Big Sur 11.6.1
Any advice is deeply appreciated.
