Add any kind on marker to "current playing" SMPTE file.
May be an blinking red background to transport control SMPTE text.

No.... Like this:

Only when video is playing..

If the clip is Timeline, or BPM synced, then you'll see a slider here, if it's Denon synced, you'll see the player number.
When the video is playing, ie it's loaded into a layer, then this SMPTE text will be there always.
Could you explain a bit, how having it flash would be better for you?

Lets say i have 20 layers for example.
All triggerd. one column.

If i having a problem During playback i want to be able to rapidly find my playing video.
and looking for that little needle...

Then maybe only have 1 or 2 clips playing? Why 20 at once, are you blending 20 clips to get your final result?

No.... I want to trigger my show once.
