I know this is going to be a bit awkward question but I want to know if I can go ahead and but the m1 studio to run resolume . my needs at the max require me to run 4 outputs of 4k each and run resolume without dropping frame rates becoz I run vides with audio,
The studio I have selected is Apple M1 Max with 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, 64GB unified memory,
pls suggest. Thank you very much
Appreciate your help

I don't think anyone has tried it with Resolume yet.

I'm tempted as well.
I live overseas and I can't fly anymore my 4U - i7 - 6850
32 GB ram
ASUS turbo 1080ti
M2. Memory for storage and 512 ssd plus media storage.
Last show I did it with a MacMini M1 (2020) 16GB and I ran 8 FHD without a glitch.
Let me know if you buy it.

Razer, Eurocom, Sager. These would probably be cheaper and are more than capable of doing what your current setup does. All are very easy to fly with.
Or are you trying to get away from PC?

note inside
“m1max can play 30 x dxv3 3840x2160 layers and is still around 80-90 fps. it is stable at least for one hour in normal room conditions.”

How did you get the 8 outputs of that Mac Mini?

Hi Zoltan,
2 FX4 not in a chain.
The content was very light... it was a still landscape.
