3D text how to do this ?

From time to time I switch to using Arena 5 because of an old plugin that I made for 3D text, built in quartz composer, can Arena 7 help me do the same kind of type effects via 'Wire'? Are there any third party plugins that can help me do this with similar customisable paramaters within Arena 7? Or is there a quick / dirty way to export an old QTZ file to FFGL somehow?

AFAIK there is no 3d object loading in Wire yet but then I guess the video you've linked is faking 3d with iterations of flat text which is already possible from what I've seen.
You could also make something which loads 'real' 3D objects with Vuo and export as FFGL for Resolume.

Yeah its not a real solid, which means that I can make full use of any font family inmy system to fake 3D text .. DocOptic has a neat workaround, it looks like there could be a way with the linear cloner tool, thanks!
