DXV encode (Windows)

Post by ether »

Hi All
After animating and running Resolume for the last 5 years on my Mac, and i've just got a new PC, so am reacquainting myself with all things Windows. What's the current state with encoding DXV's from After Effects/Premiere/Media Encoder? I don't have DXV as an output option in any of them (i have a fresh Res7 install and have also reinstalled DXV codec) - do i have to transcode via Alley? I've had a read through the forums and haven't found any recent comments about it - sorry to post i know this comes up regularly and as a long time Resolume user i'm a bit embarrassed to ask... :?

Adobe should have it built in. Look under DXV3 vs Quicktime (The old method).
Alley is MUCH faster than AME since it's multicore and AME isn't.
